Top Users Expert for Network Monitor

Project Description
A Network Monitor Expert which shows you the heavy talkers in a trace. This expert plugs into the Network Monitor UI so you run directly from the Expert menu.

Execution Requirements
All the documentation for using NMTopUsers is included when you install.

In order to run this Expert, the following are required.

• Network Monitor 3.4
• .NET 2.0
• To use the charting features
  • .NET3.5 sp1
  • Microsoft Chart Control for .NET 3.5 Sp1

Build Requirements
This project builds both the executable and MSI install files. The Netmon SDK, Perl, and Wix are strictly so you can build the MSI.

• Visual Studio 2010
• Network Monitor Expert SDK
• Visual Studio Chart Control Add on for Visual Studio 2008
• Perl (reference Netmon SDK)
• Wix (reference Netmon SDK)

Build Setup
Define the follow environment variables in order to build the MSI.

• WixPath - Location the WIX executables
• PerlPath - Loaction of the Perl executables
• NMSDK - Loaction of Network Monitor SDK Build MSI files
